Ginger signs third hotel in Goa
Ginger has announced the signing of a new hotel in Margao (Madgaon), Goa’s second largest city. The brand is already present in Panaji and Dona Paula. Deepika Rao, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ginger said, “We are happy to sign our third Ginger hotel in Goa. Ginger Margao is conveniently located opposite the Margao Railway station providing an easy access to travellers visiting this beautiful city.”
The hotel will have 47 comfortable rooms, an all-day diner, a meeting room and a fitness centre. The hotel is a fully fitted lease agreement with Lotus Inn Pvt. Ltd. and is slated to commence operations in early 2019.
Margao is the commercial and cultural capital of Goa. Its Portuguese colonial past is evident in buildings like the 1675 baroque Holy Spirit Church. The city offers many interesting sightseeing options to experience ancient Goa beyond the beaches, like the Margao Market, Goa Chitra Museum or a private tour of Braganza House, an ancient Portuguese style mansion.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 7 hotels across its brands in the state of Goa.
