India Travel Mart (ITM) Goa 2017 inaugurated
Gavin Dias, General Manager, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) inaugurated the India Travel Mart (ITM) Goa 2017 along with Rajesh Kale, Deputy Director, Department of Tourism, Govt. of Goa and Deepak Narvekar, PRO – Goa Tourism Development Corporation at the Convention Centre, Mala, Panjim.
India Travel Mart is the country’s leading international travel exhibition and Goa is the host State for the three day mega event. Kanika Kapoor, Head of Marketing & Operations of ITM by ICreative Minds (ICM) was also present at the inauguration. Inaugurated yesterday, the ITM Goa 2017 will be held till March 19 and the timings are from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm.
Speaking on the occasion, Gavin Dias said, “The ITM Goa 2017 offers a wide platform of tourism offerings for the travel and tourism trade to engage in B2B and for tourists and Goans to explore destinations in order to avail of holiday packages and more.”
Rajesh Kale said, “Goa Tourism supports mega events like ITM as it also give a big boost to the State as a tourism destination”.
The India Travel Mart- ITM 2017 is back in Goa with special emphasis on promoting Adventure tourism, Pilgrimage tourism, Beach holidays, Hill Station destinations, Honeymoon packages, Business trips and Medical tourism. This exhibition brings the unique experience of specially prepared Travel, Tour & holiday packages and good bargains from leading Hotels, Resorts, Travel agents, Tour Operators from India and Abroad.
The Event is supported by Goa Tourism & Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) as the host State with Gujarat Tourism, Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir as the partner States and Himachal Tourism, Karnataka Tourism as the co- partner States. ITM is known for its unique quality of exhibitions and travel events showcasing the best from the Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and other related industries.
The ITM Goa 2017 is offering a wide variety of attractive packages and unique tourist destinations to choose from. The exhibition also focuses on inbound, outbound & domestic tourism. Some of the State Tourism Departments like Gujarat Tourism, India Tourism, Rajasthan Tourism, Jammu & Kashmir Tourism, Himachal Pradesh Tourism, Karnataka Tourism, Jharkhand Tourism, Delhi Tourism, Uttar Pradesh Tourism, Cox & Kings, Thomas Cook, Spiceland Holidays, Trade Wings Institute, TAAI Goa Chapter and many more are participating in this ‘See India Discover Indian Destinations’ theme. The participants will display and provide information about their destinations, attractive Holiday, Travel, Tour Packages and other related services.
A large number of events, quiz competitions, prizes and surprises have been lined up during the three day event.
