Korean Air commences flight service between Delhi and Incheon

Korean Air celebrated its inaugural Delhi-Incheon direct flight service with a welcome ceremony at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Airport.

Korean Air’s maiden flight from Incheon to Delhi, KE481, touched down at Indira Gandhi Airport and was welcomed with a water canon event prepared by the airport. Following was a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the inaugural flight departing from Delhi. Present at the ceremony were Cho Hyun, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of India, Pradeep Panicker, CEO of Delhi International Airport (P) Limited (DIAL), as well as Song Bo Young, Korean Air’s Regional Director for South East Asia. Officials of Delhi airport welcomed Korean Air with warm greetings and speeches.

Korean Air’s Incheon-Delhi direct service will operate 5 days a week utilizing an Airbus A330-200 aircraft capable of seating 218. Equipped with Korean Air’s newest seats in both First and Prestige Class and cutting edge AVOD system, the aircraft will provide customers utmost comfort.

KE482 will depart Delhi at 19:40 and land in Incheon at 5:50 next day which will enable passengers to benefit from Korean Air’s extensive global network. The return flight, KE481 will depart Incheon at 12:45 and land in Delhi at 18:20.

Korean Air will continue to offer its extensive global network with a wider range of options for each of its passengers, delivering true “Excellence in Flight”.
