New Delhi welcomes British Airways’ new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
British Airways’ Robert Williams, head of sales for Asia-Pacific and Moran Birger, regional commercial manager for South Asia along with St. John Gould, director for UK Trade, Investment and Prosperity and Bollywood celebrity, Jacqueline Fernandez celebrated the arrival in New Delhi with other distinguished guests.
British Airways’ inaugural Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner flight to New Delhi witnessed a grand celebration treating guests with an experience like never before! The first flight complete with a brand new First cabin touched down at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi at 0855 hours on Monday, 26 October 2015.
On a beautiful starry night, the British High Commissioner’s residence hosted the arrival of the maiden flight to the city from London-Heathrow. Guests were treated with a unique bar designed in the shape of an aircraft giving a true British Airways welcome.
The magnificent event was graced by the presence of crème de la crème of Delhi while ravishing Jacqueline Fernandez added extra glamour to the celebration by joining as a special guest for the evening. Amongst other prominent socialites present at the celebration were Suhel Seth, author, columnist and socialite and Kalyani Saha Chawla, VP-Marketing & Communications, Christian Dior Couture, India amongst others.
