Sands Resorts Macao returns as Platinum Partner of MILT Congress in Mumbai and New Delhi

Value of India outbound market predicted to surpass USD40 billion by 2020.

Based in Dubai, QnA International, organizer of the annual MICE India and Luxury Travel (MILT) Congress, has announced the signing of Sands Resorts Macao as a Platinum Partner of the event for the second consecutive year. This year, the MILT Congress will be held in two cities: Mumbai from July 25–26, 2018 and New Delhi from July 31–August 1, 2018.
The MILT Congress is the premier platform for MICE and luxury travel sourcing for regional and outbound travel from India. According to leading business media platform Industry Today, by 2020, outbound tourism from India is expected to surpass USD40 billion and generate 6.5 million tourists annually. Given the potential of the market, the MILT Congress is a timely event focusing on current topics while providing a B2B platform for business deals.

Commenting on the MILT Congress, Stephanie Tanpure, Vice President of Sales, Sands China Ltd., said, “We were very impressed with the level of planning and support through to the event day execution at the 5th MILT Congress. From coordinating customer appointments, to ensuring customers arrived on schedule, everything was managed impeccably. We believe the MILT Congress is the highest calibre event within the Indian MICE market.”

India is one of our primary markets. As such it is imperative we meet the expectations of our Indian guests. In addition to The Venetian Macao and other hotels at Sands Resorts Macao, The Parisian Macao offers a full array of integrated resort facilities and guests will be delighted by the spectacular French-themed architecture, décor and half-scale authentic recreation of the Eiffel Tower. “We believe these additions will further highlight Sands Resorts Macao as the ideal MICE and luxury destination within the Indian market,” said Tanpure.

Sands Resorts Macao was Platinum Partner of the 2017 MILT Congress that took place in Mumbai. It consists of seven hotels, including The Venetian Macao; The Parisian Macao; Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip; The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central; Conrad Macao, Cotai Central; Holiday Inn Macao, Cotai Central and Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central.

The invitation-only event, which attracts industry leaders from India’s MICE, luxury, travel and hospitality sectors, will provide an exclusive insight into the country’s outbound market and the trends, challenges, and opportunities within.
