The Taiwan Expo 2025 has officially launched in New Delhi today on September 25th in Bharat Mandapam, and it’s set to be a game-changer for businesses across India. Jointly organized by the International Trade Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the event marks its eighth edition this year and has attracted 107 Taiwanese companies. With a record number of leading Taiwanese companies in attendance, the event isn’t just a showcase—it’s a powerful statement of Taiwan’s commitment to India’s dynamic market.
This year’s Expo is a premier platform for top-tier collaborations. Among them are industry giants like Foxconn, Delta Electronics, Advantech, and Phison Electronics, along with prominent groups such as Nan Liu and Breeze Group. Their presence underscores a shared vision of long-term partnership and mutual growth, reinforcing India’s role as a promising hub for future business.
A Convergence of Strengths: Technology Meets Innovation
The opening ceremony was graced by high-profile figures from both nations, including India’s Amardeep Singh Bhatia (Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) and Taiwan’s Representative to India, Dr. Mumin Chen, affirming the Expo’s significance in boosting bilateral trade and investment.
TAITRA Chairman James Huang highlighted the immense synergy between the two economies. He emphasized that India’s thriving startup ecosystem and vast pool of software talent are perfect complements to Taiwan’s global leadership in semiconductors, ICT, and smart technologies. This partnership, he noted, holds the key to unlimited opportunities.
