Textron Aviation appoints Bird Execujet as its authorized service facility

In keeping with its vision of providing a one stop shop for all aviation needs, Bird ExecuJet Airport Services Private Limited, a joint venture between Bird Group and ExecuJet Aviation Group, has been appointed an authorized service facility in India for multinational company, Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron, Inc. company. Bird ExecuJet has entered into an agreement with Textron Aviation to offer service and support for Citation XLS and Hawker 750/800/850/900-series business jets and King Air 90-series turboprops.

Anurag Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer – Bird ExecuJet Airport Services, said “We are extremely delighted about our agreement with Textron Aviation as it will enhance our portfolio to service and support Textron Aviation’s iconic brands in India. We consistently strive to perform the best service and support and this new appointment will go a long way in achieving Bird Group’s long-term goal and vision of becoming a preferred choice of our customers. Until now, there haven’t been any authorized facilities in New Delhi following the Delhi International Airport   selected the FBO and MRO concessionaire at Indira Gandhi International airport. With this appointment, we will offer a truly versatile and comprehensive business and general aviation product portfolio.”

Bird ExecuJet is developing a world class FBO and MRO facilities at Indira Gandhi International Airport and currently offers maintenance services from two exclusive hangars. The existing facility offers excellent logistics and operational readiness for its clients within India and supports international clients. The company has been felicitated with ‘Most Popular Service Provider of the Year award for 2016’ by Business Aircraft Operators Association (BAOA), ‘Best Turnaround Turk of the Year (Private Sector)’ by PHD Chambers of Commerce, as well as recent accreditation by the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH).
