TRAVELXP HD is currently shooting in Canary Islands

The Indian brand Travel XP HD, recognized as the World’s Leading Travel Channel, is shooting in Tenerife and Gran Canaria since last Tuesday. Their aim is to highlight the beauty, natural and cultural resources and leisure activities that both islands are able to offer to Indian tourist.

The team travelled from India and United Kingdom to Tenerife where they will be filming for almost a  week. The Tenerife Tourism Board in coordination with the Spanish Tourism Office in Mumbai have scheduled an interesting program across this volcanic island filled with all kind of experiences as Stargazing at the Teide National Park, visiting the UNESCO World Heritage city of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, enjoying the Siam Water Park, amongst many other interesting activities.

The outcome of this initiative will be two episodes for the show ‘Backpack’ about Tenerife island on Travelxp HD channel that would be broadcasted in India, Canada, USA, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Dubai, Qatar, Oman, Sri Lanka, Serbia, Croatia, Austria and North of Africa. The young audience of the show (15-45 years) will discover a great leisure and luxury destination where travel elements like relax and adventure can be combined as desired. Content related to culture, gastronomy, nature, lifestyle and activities have been carefully curated to show a diversified tourist destination that attracts potential travelers.

The Tenerife Tourism Counselor, Mr. Antonio Bernabé has mentioned about the importance of Indian tourist market for this activity to promote the great potential of the island as a tourism destination for Indian tourist. As the number of Indian tourist that decides to travel to Spain increases every year, Tenerife authorities appoints this initiative as an excellent opportunity for the islands to showcase its many resources and touristic offerings to the Indian market.

On Monday 27th March, the team will travel to Gran Canaria island where the filming will continue until March 30th for one more episode of the same show.
