Travelyaari launches Maven- a latest mobility solution for transport providers

With features such as real-time ticket booking and confirmation as well as GPS tracking of buses, the pioneering development to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

In a landmark move that will disrupt the transport industry, Travelyaari, India’s leading bus booking platform, has announced the launch of MAVEN, its latest Mobility Solution for Bus Transport Industry. Developed to overcome the limitations of a desktop-only service, the app will facilitate greater operational digitization for bus service providers and help them overcome the hassles caused due to the lack of an efficient information tracking and system access to support critical processes. MAVEN ensures the availability of last minute bus inventory and easy bookings and cancellations by bus conductors for travellers who make bookings on-the-go things which were earlier usually done manually by issuing paper tickets. As all bookings made are immediately reported back to the operator, bus operations become more pellucid for the owner and the loss of revenue resulting from mislaid last-minute bookings is curtailed.

The MAVEN app has the potential to make the entire location tracking process digitized. Drivers and conductors can start the trip from the app and the same can be tracked across all the products of Mantis Technologies like Travelyaari.com and Travelyaari APP. This would narrow the dependence on GPS hardware devices considerably, thus making the process more methodical. Conductors can access the Passenger Chart List directly from MAVEN App which will have real time data as against a standard printout which is generally taken hours before the departure of the bus. It will also help in avoiding duplication of seats if they are issued at the same time.

Commenting on the launch, Aurvind Lama, Founder and CEO, Travelyaari, said, “MAVEN is a Make In India innovative mobility solution for digitalization of last mile of bus transport industry. MAVEN has huge potential to contribute towards Cashless Economy by enabling digital payments (like wallets and smart cards) inside buses. Making bus transport Industry ready for Smart City vison MAVEN will enable IOT (Internet of Things) inside buses like bio metric verification of bus crew, smart sensor based control and entertainment system etc. The solution is designed for both intercity and intracity transport network taking bus traveling experience and security to the next level.”

On the association, Jain Travels Regd, Jodhpur stated “Maven App of Mantis Technologies has made our business operations and processes highly organized, simpler , better and time saving. The smart functionalities and features in Maven App are helping us in monitoring our inventory, bookings and staff activities on a real time basis.”

“Maven App has helped us to go online even when our buses are on the road. It has helped us to track real time location of buses and inventory resulting into great customer delight” said Vishwa Travels, Latur.

The app also helps in the ease of transactions, tracking payments, and accessing billing information online. The country has witnessed a steep rise in cashless transactions through e-wallets, especially in bookings and transactions related to the travel industry. This has provided a much-needed fillip to reduction in usage of paper, resulting in faster and greater digitization in the transportation sector. The MAVEN app will give uplift to cashless transactions, making the process of booking bus tickets convenient for the service providers.

One of the services that is going to be instigated in the MAVEN app is the cargo tracking facility where the operators can track the luggage and identify whom it belongs to by marking it on the app and it also acts as an aid to identify where and when the luggage has reached rather than using a chart for the same. This will make the procedure much easier so that the cargo doesn’t have to be transferred from one vault to another for singling it out and the conductors does not have to go to the counters to produce the details about the cargo.
