Travelyaari’s tie up with Yes Money

Bus booking platform Travelyaari ties up with domestic remittance service provider Yes Money to facilitate quick ticketing transactions.

Travelyaari has tied up with Yes Bank’s domestic remittance service, Yes Money, to offer a seamless payment method to customers through Yes Money’s API. With this partnership Yes Money, a pioneer among domestic remittance platforms in India, is adding bus bookings to its portfolio in order to bridge the only visible missing piece from its assorted platter of financial services.

Yes Money was launched with a vision to offer multi-channel outward domestic remittance services that provided a reliable source of money transfer. Moreover, it aimed to promote financial inclusion among people who have access to a formal bank account at the terminating point, usually one’s native village, but not at the originating point which is the city to where they migrate for work.

Through Yes Money’s extensive base of 80,000 business correspondents and business correspondent agents, such underserved individuals can access a host of services including domestic money transfer, co-branded prepaid cards and corporate cash management solutions. With this alliance, Yes Money has gained its ground among 80,000 agents with an additional service of bus booking through Travelyaari. Bus bookings being a frequent and necessary transaction among the platform’s target community, the financial services company will significantly add to its existing value proposition with this exclusive association.

Commenting on the alliance, Aurvind Lama – Co Founder and Director of  Travelyaari said, “Travelyaari was incepted with a vision to organize the largely unorganized bus service sector in order to offer people a quick, safe and reliable bus booking portal. This tie-up with Yes Money is a significant step towards achieving that vision to establish seamless accessibility to bus transport by adopting cutting-edge technologies. The financial platform is a leader in the remittances ecosystem, and we are proud to have enabled it to feature easier and quicker bus bookings in its vast array of services.”

Travelyaari, a flagship brand of Mantis Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has established itself as the front runner in the online bus booking industry. It has successfully introduced a host of new technologies and digital solutions in the field of travel assistance, with features such as bus tracking, seat booking, inventory management and fleet management. By incorporating software-based solution in this sector, Travelyaari has made bus travel immensely convenient and dependable for commuters and operators.
