Vistara App offers – get 5kg additional baggage, free cancellation and more
Vistara today rolled out a slew of offers, including 5 kg additional check-in baggage, complimentary tickets, free cancellation, among others, to the customers and loyalty club members booking directly through the airline’s portal or its mobile app. Under the limited offer ‘Vistara Direct, the customers will also be provided complimentary priority services at the airports, the airline said in a release. The benefits can be availed for the bookings made on September 28 and onward, it said.
“Booking directly with Vistara offers customers a number of advantages. Now with Vistara Direct, we are offering an additional array of valuable and tangible benefits to customers who book directly on our website or mobile app to make their journeys even more seamless and hassle free,” said Vistara chief strategy and commercial officer Sanjiv Kapoor.
The one free date change or cancellation within 24 hours of booking will be allowed only as long as travel is at least 7 days ahead, the release said. It also offers complimentary fast-track priority handling at the airport at dedicated counters (for check-in, baggage, and boarding) as well as double Club Vistara (CV) points for CV members, and an additional 5kg check-in luggage allowance.
‘Vistara Direct’ also provides several other benefits like lower fees and faster refunds, timely and assured email and SMS flight status alerts, and attractive periodic upgrade offers. In addition, for a limited time, MobiKwik users will get 10 per cent cashback upto a maximum of Rs 600 in the form of supercash on all bookings made on Vistara’s website, the airline said.
The Club Vistara members will be entitled to one free one-way business class ticket if they undertake six journeys in the same class in a calender month. Similarly, six journeys in the premium economy class in a calender month will fetch one free one-way ticket of the same class and one complimentary one-way, one-class upgrade voucher, the airline said.
Besides, a passengers having six economy class journeys on Vistara flights in a calender month will make him or her entitle for one complimentary one-way, one-class upgrade voucher, it said. The Delhi-based airline currently operates about 100 daily flights to 21 destinations a fleet of 16 Airbus A320 aircraft in three class configuration — business, premium economy and economy.
