Welcoming the Automobile Elite to Andalusia – Sotogrande Grand Prix®

Sotogrande, one of the first real estate and leisure destinations to be founded on the Andalusian Mediterranean, is gearing up to host the first SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX®.

Over the course of five days, from Wednesday 24 May to Sunday 28 May 2017, southern Spain from Seville to Sotogrande will be home to rallies, exhibitions, sales and displays of an eclectic selection of elegant classic cars and premium marques from the past, present and future.

The Andalusian route culminates in a three-day Grand Prix festival from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 May at Sotogrande.  Here this legendary destination will become center stage as the entire fleet of exceptional car models descends on Marina Sotogrande and La Reserva with a luxury sale, Concours d’Elegance and speed trials, amongst much more other activities.

The choice for Sotogrande was inspired by its location and illustrious history. This majestic setting beneath the sun of southern Spain is the perfect backdrop to celebrate the design and display of classic and leading marque specialist cars and host an array of society events. Bringing the Grand Prix to Sotogrande further celebrates the good life for which Sotogrande has become known since it was created in 1962. Here, in the Andalusian epicenter of elegant living, tranquility and discretion, the world’s elite come to enjoy life’s understated luxuries to the full.

Moreover, Sotogrande is among the world’s finest sporting destinations. There are five 18-hole golf courses, three of Spain’s best, Andalusia’s first polo club, the prestigious Santa Maria Polo Club, a favorite with Europe’s royal and the world’s polo elite. Championship size courts offer tennis and paddle, there is a bustling marina with berths for 1,400 yachts and a yacht club, as well as numerous beach clubs, dining venues and boutiques. The SOTOGRANDE GRAND PRIX® now presents a magnificent start of the season.
