Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott Outer Ring Road, win at the ‘Hotelier India Awards’ 2016
Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott, Bengaluru, bagged three prestigious awards at the eighth edition of the Hotelier India Awards held at The Leela Ambience Gurgaon Hotel & Residences recently. The twin properties swept all the important categories such as ‘The General Manager of the year’, ‘HR Manager of the year’ and ‘Director of Rooms’ awards for 2016.
The most coveted and biggest award of the evening, ‘The General Manager Of The Year’ was won by Gaurav Singh- General Manager Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott, Outer Ring Road, in the Upscale to Midmarket Segment. Adding to this accolade were the awards won by, Pradeep Ghorphade- Multi Property Human Resources Manager who won ‘HR Manager of The Year’, and Ashwin Vaidya received the award for ‘Director of Rooms The Year’ for 2016.
The Hotelier India Awards, scaling high in their eighth year recognise and reward the achievements of the country’s best in the hospitality business. This elite forum acknowledges the efforts of hoteliers from the various departments that make up a hotel, across brands, category of hotels and demographics, each of whom work hard and contribute to the success of their respective property. The award’s night had hoteliers who have made outstanding contributions in the hospitality industry come together under one roof.
