British transport minister to meet Indian civil aviation minister

UK’s Minister for Aviation, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, will lead a delegation of British companies to India on 8 – 10 February for the CAPA India Aviation Summit 2017.

Aviation Minister Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon said, “The UK and India share a strong civil aviation history and I look forward to seeing the opportunities for industrial and economic collaboration between our two great nations. The British aerospace industry is at the heart of delivering new technology for the next generation of cleaner, quieter and more efficient planes that will greatly benefit India?s growing aviation sector, and I encourage Indian companies to partner with us to make the most of our world-class expertise.”
