The Leela Expands With Third Luxury Hotel in National Capital Region

Newest addition to portfolio – The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi brings one of the largest conventions and events space in India 

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts today announced a new addition to the group’s luxury portfolio with the reflagging of Ambience Group’s five-star deluxe hotel in East Delhi. Renamed ‘The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi,” the 480-room property offers one of the largest conference and event space in India. With the newest addition, The Leela group now operates three unique properties in the Delhi-NCR totalling over 1150 rooms,further enhancing its brand appeal and market penetration.

The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi is strategically located near the historic Old Delhi as well as the central business districts of Delhi, Ghaziabad and Noida.  It offers 70,000 square feet of multi-purpose meeting and banqueting space, including a pillar-less ballroom with pre-function area in excess of 30,000 square feet, with the capacity to host more than 6000 guests reception style and 2500 seated theatre-style.

The property is helmed by Jaideep Anand, an experienced hotelier with over three decades with leading hotel groups. Anand brings an immaculate reputation for excellence in hotel operations, food and beverage, and wellness.

The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi is easily accessible from the Airport, National Highway and Delhi Metro. Its480 contemporary rooms and suites are encased within two towers connected by sky bridges. The Leela’s signature experience of culinary excellence will be reflected in all four restaurants and its scenic, glass-enclosed bar.  For guests and local residents alike, the hotel offers a 6587 square feet spa with hammam and an ice fountain, two fitness studios, a trendy beauty salon, and two outdoor heated swimming pools.

The 70,000 square feet ballroom space is flexible and can also be divided into five smaller rooms with flexible seating and is flanked by four VIP guest rooms which can be used as break-away areas.  The hotel also offers a second ballroom with an area of 3500 square feet, an 1100 square feet outdoor patio, two exclusive boardrooms and three meeting rooms.

Two well-appointed business centres at the hotel, comprising of seven additional boardrooms compliment the convention facilities, on the ground level. Each of these business centres are equipped with state of the art LED screens, world class office equipment and personalised executive service.
